Can I use RemoteLab for CCST, CCNA, and CCNP? ▼

Yes. RemoteLab hardware is the same gear used in Cisco NetAcad labs. The pod topology (2 routers, 2 switches, 2 PCs) supports lab exercises from CCST through CCNP Enterprise. Cybersecurity and automation tracks are also supported with the same hardware.

What if the hardware fails mid-session? ▼

Our monitoring checks every device every few minutes. If a device becomes unresponsive, the system flags it and notifies us immediately. For critical failures during a session, we contact the user directly and credit the session. We keep spare hardware available for rapid swap-out.

How does the founding member pricing work? ▼

The first 25 accounts that activate when billing launches will pay the launch pricing for 3 full years, regardless of any future price increases. Founding members also receive a permanent badge on their profile. Sign up above to get on the early access list.

Is RemoteLab FERPA compliant? ▼

We take student data seriously. RemoteLab stores only the minimum data needed to operate — email, name, session logs, and lab results. We do not sell or share student data with third parties. For Institution accounts, we provide a Data Processing Agreement on request. Contact [email protected] with FERPA-specific questions.

Do students need to install anything? ▼

Nothing. RemoteLab runs entirely in the browser. No VPN, no software to install. Any device with a modern browser and an internet connection can access a live pod.

How long is the free trial? ▼

Individual accounts get a 10-day free trial. Educator and Institution accounts get a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. When your trial ends, you choose whether to subscribe. There is no automatic charge.
